After notifying everyone we will be closing on June 9th I was stopped by Frans husband, Robin Young, who is the Chairman of Gosport Community Association (Thorngate Halls). He was very disappointed that we would be closing and had spoke to Thorngate Trustees. He told me about a young lady who was interested in taking the group forward. I was amazed when the young lady was someone I knew very well, Charlie Hyland's. I have known Charlie since she was very young girl so immediately got in contact with her to arrange a meeting, Today, we met with Trustee, Leslie Mitchell, and Charlies colleague, Stacie Buchan, and dotted the i's and crossed the t's on our plan for CHAT2Us. I will not retire completely, but will stay on as Trustee and Treasurer for the next year when we will complete the transfer over to Charlie, Stacie and Su Seymour's hands. The main change to the group, at the moment, is we will continue at Thorngate Halls, Privett Suite from May 12th. More details nearer the time...

This venue (next door to Gosport War Memorial Hospital) can be reached by bus (E1, E2, 9, 9A, 5).
There is a car park at the venue, which is pay and display. Note, the charges are enforced. Please do not park in the NHS or disabled spaces unless you are entitled to do so.
The disabled spaces are also chargeable.
You may find parking on the road nearby, but there may be limited waiting times.
